Rabbi Bryan Wexler

Rabbi Bryan Wexler joined the Temple Beth Sholom family in 2017. He holds a B.A. from Brandeis University. He was ordained in May 2017 at the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he also received a Masters in Jewish Education from the William Davidson School of Education. 

While a student at JTS, Rabbi Wexler was the Rabbinic Intern for two years at Park Avenue Synagogue in Manhattan, and before that, a Rabbinic Fellow at B’nai Jeshurun also in Manhattan. In addition he worked as a b’nai mitzvah tutor and led Kabbalat Shabbat services at the Atria Senior Living Center in Manhattan. He spent his various summers as a chaplain at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, a Rosh Edah (unit head) at Ramah Berkshires, a Rabbinic Fellow at T'ruah, and as a student at Mechon Hadar in Manhattan. During Rabbinical School, Rabbi Wexler spent the High Holidays working at Temple Beth Shalom (Pittsburgh, PA), B'nai Israel (Rockville, MD), B'nai Jeshurun (New York, NY), Beth El (Allentown, PA) and Park Avenue Synagogue (New York, NY). 

Rabbi Wexler was a Wexner Graduate Fellow, a UJA- Graduate Fellow and a Lefell-AIPAC Fellow. Prior to JTS, Rabbi Wexler worked for two years as the Youth Director and Community Educator at Temple Aliyah in Needham, MA. 

Rabbi Wexler is married to Rebecca Wexler and together they are the proud parents of twins, Meyer and Gavi and daughter Eliana. 

Rabbi Wexler grew up in Wilmington, DE and is a huge Philadelphia sports fan!
